Electric concert ukulele

Concert size uklectic was my first prototype now owned by Phil Doleman of The Re-entrants. The Re-entrants are a working duo who play small to medium size venues where Phil needs a no-nonsense instrument that is going to play above the crowd! He recently informed me that it is his most gigged out instrument and he has few from other builders!

These can be fitted with standard friction tuners or 2 on a plate side tuners - either way the instrument is a classic. This particular one photographed here lives in Sweden in Juha's apartment.

It has the classic compression curl with sap koa drop top that is useless for acoustic instruments but works great on solids. Body and neck are Spanish cedar and the fingerboard and headplate are Indian rosewood. No active electrics in this one...
