This is what he said:Acoustically it's very quiet but audible, so it can be heard quietly without plugging in and without disturbing others' sleep. Where it really excels is plugged into an amp; it sounds very natural and uke-like and delightful, it has good sustain and nice tone up the neck.I'm really very happy with the uke.
